Tel Aviv University, Manna Center Program for Food Safety and Security

With over 7 billion mouths to feed globally, ensuring a secure supply of food is a burgeoning and critical challenge for scientists and policymakers alike.
The Manna Center Program in Food Safety and Security brings together over 50 Tel Aviv University researchers from diverse academic disciplines to promote innovative research, forge ties with professionals and academics around the world, and prepare the next generation of scientists and policymakers to guide global food security issues.
The program, which is the first of its kind in Israel, works in three complementary spheres of activity that position Tel Aviv University at the forefront of world food security research and development: Teaching, Research, and Outreach.
